Hello, guys.  If your videocard with the warranty expired is virtually damaged but not physically damaged nor the fall nor the burn (nor overclock (non-OC edition card)?), you should ship this card to EVGA and buy new videocard by the NORMAL price (eg: RTX 3080 10GB reference costs US$699 or...). If your videocard is still working, you can upgrade to new videocard with abnormal and (very) high price. Do you agree this? Best regards, Ricardo Rodrigues

Cards don't become virtually damaged. If the card is faulty there is some physical damage(can happen on its own do to defects or age). If you mean by old age cards that are not supported anymore, they could run kind of step up(recycle) program for old cards where you get some discount if you buy a new card(a lot of phone companies do this). That would give them a lot of b-stock cards. Could be profitable for them.

Okay well first of all GPUs don't become "virtually" damaged. If something isn't working, it's almost guaranteed to be a physical defect of sorts, in which case you should submit an RMA request. If your GPU is past the warranty date sending it in to Nvidia and them letting you purchase another card is just straight up purchasing the card with extra steps. As for your second point, why would EVGA or Nvidia ever sell you a new card for a "very abnormal and very high price"? You'd be better off just again, buying a GPU outright from the beginning. I think you're thinking of something similar to the EVGA Step Up program, where within like a month or so of owning a card, you can "step up" to the next tier of GPU and you just pay the difference.
The GTX-1050 TI is extremely underrated, and no one can tell me otherwise.

I doubt very much an administrator is going to comment. This is primarily a user to user forum and moderators are not representatives of EVGA they are just users like us, they are not EVGA employees. As for what you are asking I'm not sure I follow you. If you are implying that if your card has no physical defects and it past its warranty that you should be able to send it back to EVGA and they will send you back a brand new card for less than what they are currently selling for, you are living in a fantasy land. That doesn't happen with video cards. If your card is past it's warranty and is no longer working that's it, you don't have any more options and EVGA is under no obligation implied or otherwise to send you a new card for MSRP or over MSRP. You can stop worrying now, that's the answer. You aren't getting a new card to replace your old card unless you go out and buy one yourself through whatever means you have available to you.

My GPU (see my signature) has the warranty expired but this card with 5.5 years old is still working 100%.

EVGA has a queue process for new cards I would not expect having a registered card that died, even if your the documented original owner - will come into play; but, anything is possible you would be surprised how much money (on auction site), - some people are willing to pay for a "parts only card" the only other option is finding a repair shop EVGA does have a Step-Up for New Cards & when cards are new (<90 day) ... EVGA offered extension Warranty options
