I am a very lucky owner who managed to get a 3090 Kingpin last week.
Thus far, very impressed with the card out of the box.
A job well done to team EVGA !

Over the last few days I have been trying to get hold of all relevant documentation, searched the forums, watched YouTube videos...
BUT. Surely there should be official detailed documentation from EVGA?
For example:
A detailed document explaining the DIP switches on the back of the card.
A detailed document explaining the differences between the "normal" and "OC" and "LN2" switches.
A clear document or consolidated thread explaining which is the latest BIOS for the card.

I do appreciate all the fans and hobbyists contributing, however - why must I, as a customer spend my limited time trying to reverse engineer all the details of this card?
Why must I search through YouTube videos trying to figure out the DIP switches?

The lack of official documentation is alarming - or - do I miss the link to where I can find all of this?

Kindly respond to my request.

There isn’t a website that told you everything like there was for the 2080 ti kingpin. E.g. https://xdevs.com/guide/2080ti_kpe/

Dip switch info for the 3090 can be seen here: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KV6OB5wxtNw

Differences between normal, oc, and ln2 vbios are the power limits on each. The ln2 switch also disables temp protection. Normal is 450w. Oc is 480w. LN2 is 520w.

You can update the VBIOS using EVGA Precision X1.
Make sure to disable fast boot and CSM on your motherboard BIOS before updating the VBIOS.

Yeah having to find these things on random youtube videos is a bit weird. Kinda cool... like you're in some special club of rare ownership, but profuse official documentation would have been better.

Thank you for the comments, guys.

@Sajin; When you switch to the LN2 bios, does is disable temp and other checks?
So, in other words is it safe to try out using the stock cooling?

Temp protection is disabled on LN2 switch position. It’s safe to use daily as long as you keep an eye on your gpu temps. If you don’t want to constantly monitor temps you could always flash the ln2 vbios to the oc switch to regain temp protection.

Ooh I didn't know that.  My evil plan coalesces.

Thanks, Sajin. I also did not know that.
Looks like this weekend will be spent doing a lot more reading and searching.
