I'm curious to see if I can run a significantly faster fclk with my 5950X on the X570 Dark.  I'm already at 2000 MHz fclk with zero errors.

Either imc can't do 1900 anymore on my 5800x or my mem is toast and can't clock 3800, inclined to believe my imc is shot 🤔

Ofc I would need to test each stick of mem first 🤔

I'm not sure if I'm going to purchase the board.  I might be going to a Thread Ripper 5000 series system next year instead.

If I do get the option to purchase my question will be:  Use 2 sticks of my 4 stick 64GB kit for only 32GBs or should I purchase new memory kit for 64GB?

It depends on the speed.  If you have a good CPU, you can take advantage of DDR4 4000 MHz or faster memory.

Also, has anyone else who bought the x570 dark, had their debug lcd readout burn out already?
Mine are barely visible already, had it set to read out cpu temp 😑

So the problem is on x570's too? I mean...it makes sense they'd have used the same parts/circuit for that. How horribly unfortunate. I have a running tally in the z590 section, but there are z490's with the problem too. I just got my RMA up and running this last week and turned off the POST LED so that it shows the POST code during boot, then turns itself off. I got the 5 year warranty. Hopefully this minimizes how many times I'll need to use it lol.

I was worried about it, but didn't know for sure if the issue was carried into the x570. I didn't want to sound any alarms before I knew there was a problem. Not sure if Lee or Jacob have seen this (or my thread about it), so I sent Jacob an email. I know of 12 people now.

Worst part is down time from RMA for something like this 😪
Not sure if it's worth the trouble :/

I decided to try and cross-ship and get it done before BF2042 came out (didn't want downtime during that). I first got a refurbished board (because mine was 3 months old) and it had a bent CPU pin, so I sent it back. Got my second one up and running no problem. Being that my original board still functioned perfectly otherwise, there was only a couple hours of "downtime" to swap the board over carefully. I just had to front 2x the purchase price. If your system is stable and you don't have to worry about the POST codes, I'd say it isn't worth the trouble. I like to be able to see the POST code, so I wanted it fixed. If it happens again, I'll wait until the most convenient timing possible to do it. Preferably after they acknowledge the issue and have a fix for it (fingers crossed anyway). If I had to guess, the "is it worth it?" sentiment is why we only have 12 reports so far.

Update from Jacob on Twitter today:

Have more coming in 1-2 weeks.

Guess I won't bother with a new list until then unless people want to let me know about their notification time that isn't on the list already.

can you edit your 1st post on page 1 with the most up to date list? It’ll save hunting through different pages for the updated list.

Sure (done). I usually just try to put one on each page so that you can always just go to the last (newest) page. I just didn't think it would be helpful to drop one here yet as nothing has happened and won't for another week or two according to Jacob.

Take me off the list.  Going to go with the ASUS CH Viii Extreme.

This queue is taking too long

Wish you all good luck.

Yeah.. I bet.  I'm sure the ASUS extreame is not the same level of quality but it likely will be more stable then my CH Viii Formula since its more recent.
EVGA for my GPU..  and fingers are crossed that my warranty replacement for that will crash less

I can't even remove myself from the notify queue.. its locked and the product page says notifies are disabled due to heavy demand for this product.

No offence to EVGA but I am starting to think the products are not produced in large numbers and the focus is for test bench over clock folks not people that want to build a workstation to use.
I was really looking forward to trying this board out but AM5 is like what 10 months away? Maybe at most 14 months.

Sigh...

I have this same issue on my Z490 Dark Kingpin. I thought I was the only one. My X299 Dark, Z390 Dark, and Z590 Dark all seem unaffected thus far knock on wood. The 490 is currently sitting in its box unused, perhaps I'll try and RMA it.

What kind of clocks are you all achieving on the x570 dark?
Haven't tried cpu oc but my trident z 3200 cl14 2 x 8gb is able to hit 3600 cl14 with super tight secondary timings at 1t

I am at 9:25:07 and received a notification with the rest way back, then was told they oversold because they didn't have one for me.  I have yet to hear anything, they said they put me back in the queue.  If you are after me, you haven't missed any notifications.
