Just got her installed and had a couple quick questions. Im coming from a 20 series with two bios options, but honestly never used anything other than the normal vbios on all my cards, and never overclocked. With that being said: 1. I installed the 3080 FTW Ultra, updated firmware since PX1 asked me too, then clean install of drivers and everything went smooth. After installing everything I noticed the power in precision was set down to like 30%? Very odd. I moved the slider to 100, then to 105 where it is maxed out. Im on the normal Vbios. I guess my question is, why was it set so low and not default 100% and is it ok to raise it to 105 or above. I dont have the XOC bios yet. 2. Should I get the XOC bios if Im not overclocking? What do I gain in gaming performance etc. 1440p 27 inch monitor. No 4K gaming. Other than that, feel free to throw me any and all advice. thanks in advance.

No, they won't work properly. If you look more closely at the page, there's a section specifically for 3080 LHR cards, which includes the XOC BIOS for the cards.

^^^^ To be quite honest ...due to your Card being Air Cooled you will very likely run into thermal concerns long before you hit 450w power draw.
Give it a try, but dont think it will make much difference....

Hate to dig up a old thread but had a similar issue where precision x1 would revert to 100% power after having it at 105% bug? Software not saving my settings? I upgraded to latest version.
