Wish I could live at microcenter to buy everything I need.

You "need"? No.
The root of the shortage is that demand is insane because everyone "needs" this stuff that they don't actually need.
What people need is a job and something to keep them busy, instead of having too much spare time to think about stuff they "need".

ASRock Z77 • Intel Core i7 3770K • EVGA GTX 1080 • Samsung 850 Pro • Seasonic PRIME 600W Titanium

How can Microcenter allow this?  Aren't they just feeding it when they have to know what is going on?  Oh wait,  they don't care about anything but making a buck even if it ruins the market.

I wish there was a Microcenter near me.  There is only a small Best Buy and they haven't been getting much stock in.

That seems to be a lot of work to get GPUs, but I would still be interested in what the plans look like after the changeover of ETH, do miners already have other coins for mines in mind or is it more like a "let's see what's coming" mindset.
Either way, you should not and cannot tell people what to do with the device they have purchased.

I know average-Joe local miners camping out every night at Micro Centers aren't the ones causing the international GPU shortage. That being said, it's definitely discouraging when you have a full-time job and cannot afford to take off work to sit outside a store for 12-16 hours--only to see the same handful of people in local discord servers posting what cards they bought that week. I know some of the local Micro Centers have implemented a 30-day cool down period before you can buy again, but some stores were not following that earlier this year and some people have circumvented that rule by giving cash to several friends to go in and buy cards.

My local microcenter has a 30 day cool down period. I don't how they enforce it though. I wonder if you could just pay cash to bypass the system.

The truth is that every person that actually needs just 1 card would have gotten that card if he really needed it. It’s just that all these people that “need” just 1 card are not getting it because they refuse to pay scalper price for it. And I don’t blame them. I do the same. But at least I am not crying about it. If I really needed a card, I would have gotten one months ago…

would be nice to buy everything you need for a reasonable price tbh

You can use my Associate code: BDSLXPAD3HLKXV3 for 3% off for your GPU or up to 10% off of any purchase!
