You might be confusing the MCU flash with the Resizable BAR flash. Those are not the same. The MCU flash is the one that will ask you to update the firmware as soon as you open PX1; the ReBAR VBIOS will only be applied if you visit the ReBAR tab and select the "Update" button.
So I flashed the BIOS, same issue as everyone else seems to have, fans stuck at 33%, downloaded the newer Precision X1, flashed again and only my first two fans stay that way hahaha...I can't load either PX1 (is there a Windows 7 compatibility issue?)...I had to go back to 1.1.7.1 (a beta given to me during a troubleshooting) but that didn't solve any of the issues.
I had NVIDIA Driver version 465.89 installed at the moment, I lost my 144hz 1080p settings in NVIDIA control panel, went back to 461.92.
As I said, I can't run resizable bar anyways, not that I was able to reach that screen lol...but all I did was update the normal BIOS during setup.
I uninstalled PX1, deleted my settings, reinstalled NVIDIA drivers, shut down entirely turning off my PSU at the switch and waited about a minute then reinstalled PX1 v1.1.8.0 and v1.1.9.0, no luck.
What in the world is going on?
I'd like to hit reset now...wish I never asked lol. I backed up my BIOS in GPU-Z, can I use that to flash it back? And what would I use to do it?
My PX1 is lagging like crazy, my power bar us stuck at 0%...help please.
EDIT: Reinstalled PX1 ver 1.1.7.0 and my power bar went back to normal. But my third fan loads with my PC at full speed (which is kinda bad, I have my 3090 mounted vertically), it has a bracket under the Retention Bar...but still.
I would still like to know how to flash back and why PX1 past that version doesn't work. Not liking the new BIOS lol.
