Currently, NEWEGG has listed a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3090 Ti Gaming - $1539 US which is a 23% decrease over the EVGA $1999 MSRP. The Gigabyte RTX rocking as well a triple-fan cooling solution and comes with a custom-designed PCB. This is in fact just $40 more than their MSRP of the Gigabyte RTX 3090 at $1499. Amazing! I am close in building another all new Z690 system for my second home and hoping that EVGA will come around in cutting their existing prices respectively. Would be nice to see a major price reduction on a Z690 Kingpin and a reduced 3090 TI! It would make my new-build budget very happy and just before the door or the season closes on a Z690 platform. I would normally buy another Z690 Classified, but a juicy price reduction on a Kingpin and a 3090 TI would tell me otherwise and making me jump so much faster! Thoughts?

You're not going to get an official answer to that. EVGA's past performance says nope... as long as the customers are paying, there's no reason to drop the prices.

Had to look up Stehekin... almost as isolated as I am.

I would not hold my breath, EVGA held pricing firm when other MFG were jacking it out of sight like ASUS , Gigabyte, and MSI, now that those guys are moving for deeper discounts, the EVGA will offer some sales on certain things, but not big Deep discounts across the board yet , just make sure you sign up for the news letter and you will be notified of all sales , happy hunting .

Where is my crystal ball?
Only thought I have is: "budget" and RTX 3090 Ti in the same sentence? Then to really push it over the top, "Kingpin" in that sentence too?
If you want budget-friendly performance, buy a 3080 10gb.
3080 Ti, 3090, and 3090 Ti are all terrible when it comes to budget. The price nowhere near matches the small performance bumps.

EVGA's 3090 Ti also features a 'triple fan cooling solution'. With the possible exception of reference boards (and perhaps not even then) all AIB boards are 'custom designed' as well.

You likely won't see any major price reductions in the near term, unless vendors (Newegg, etc..) decide to cut prices to move inventory. I certainly wouldn't expect to see a $600 price drop on the EVGA card anytime soon.

Now that same gigabyte card that is linked above has gone up to $1649. Prices are fluctuating, so keep an eye out for lower prices on other sites.

Prices are dependent upon various factors. You'll need to just keep observing the EVGA website to see what happens.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA

Yeah, that anniversary sale from EVGA is actually pretty nice. https://forums.evga.com/The-EVGA-123-Anniversary-Deal-Is-Here-m3560597.aspx

With that said, with the 40 series likely coming out August(ish), going EVGA for their step-up program window (still 3 months, right?) is better than getting a different manufacturers card right now and spending two to three times as much for the same performance.

Here’s your price reduction:

Good way to start a new build, if that’s what the OP is still considering for their vacation home.

OP
As you wished, EVGA decided to come around and cut their existing prices down to $1500 for all 3090tis (except Kingpin).
Check the website and enjoy.

So with all the talk about what you actually get in regards to the bin quality between the models, which one do you buy now that they are all the same price?  Ultra?

Yes, Ultra. Guaranteed higher base clocks. That does NOT mean higher overall clocks, GPU boost 4.0 will still be overclocking all of the models close to the same, but the guaranteed lowest clocks will be higher.

get a FTW3 Ultra, if it fits in your case ... the bigger cooler is better - IMO Been very happy with my 3080Ti FTW3 Ultra

Well if I buy one it hopefully won't have the stock cooler on it very long.

Hybrid is the same price too. I think it's rated boost clock is just higher because of the better cooler though.

Yep. Fire sale existing inventory due to lower demand and the forthcoming Nvidia announcement\release of the 40 series cards.

AIB's made a killing off the 30 series for two years due to high demand and component\shipping shortages from Covid so I think they can afford it .

OP,
As you requested, EVGA just decided to come around and cut their existing price for the Z690 Kingpin, such that now it is only $499 from the EVGA store.
Enjoy!
