Bug #1: VF Curve loads with changes after system reboot.

How to reproduce:
1- Set up a custom VF curve manually on PX1 (for example, I have an undervolt curve for my RTX 3090 FTW3 Ultra that stops at 875mV @1905MHz).
(Note: Make sure you note the values for the custom curve, to compare at step 4)
2- Save to a profile.
3- Shut down the system, and then power it back on.
4- Take a look at the custom VF curve in PX1 after the system reboot, and notice that some of the points on the curve have been moved up or down.

Curve set:

Curve after reboot:

Bug #2: Changing custom fan curve and clicking Apply resets custom VF curve to the default VF curve.

How to reproduce:
1- Set up a custom fan curve (for instance, 30% under 50C, up to 50% at 70C, then up to 100% at 90C).
2- Enable fan curve control.
3- Make a custom VF curve by dragging the points on the VF graph, for example to set up an undervolt.
4- Apply.
5- Go back to the custom fan curve control menu, make a change to the fan curve (for instance changing the fan curve graph, or setting up a temperature hysteresis).
6- Apply.
7- Go back to the VF curve menu, notice your custom VF curve set at step 3 has been overridden with the default curve.

Cards Tested: RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA (24G-P5-3987-KR) and RTX 3060 XC (12G-P5-3657-KR)
PX1 Version: 1.1.7.0

    Hi splepage,

Sorry your PX1 VF Curve settings are changed after reboot.  Do you have "Apply previous settings on load"  already checked in the settings menu?  If its already set, try the next steps.

Run Steps 1, 2, and 5 from here:

    https://www.evga.com/support/faq/FAQdetails.aspx?faqid=59762

(uninstall app data files, install C++ update, and re-install PX1)

Let us know if the issue persist.

    Regards,
    Peter N

    Hello Peter.

I do have the settings 'Start With OS', 'Start Minimized' and 'Apply previous settings on load' enabled.

I've just reproduced both bugs on a fresh install of PX1 1.1.7.0 (ran steps 1, 2 and 5) with my RTX 3090 system.

    Here you go:

Latest Nvidia drivers (non-beta) and latest version of PX1 used.

Hello, just wanted to say I've also experienced both problems on my 3060 Ti; could point to being a PX1 issue. I found another way to reproduce bug 1 (system reboot - unwanted VF curve changes) - just closing and reopening PX1, then loading the custom curve profile yields the bug. Also using the latest non-beta Nvidia drivers (clean install) and latest ver. of PX1 (went through the steps in Peter's link). Have the same options checked in PX1's setup menu as splepage too (Start with OS, Start minimized, Apply previous settings on load).

Before (1951 MHz @ 950 mV - custom undervolt curve):

    After (bug 1):
