You may be using the wrong website for your region.  If you are outside of the US, use the appropriate website, like EU.EVGA.com, and try again.

I just checked to be sure and it's definitely on the EU site (I'm from EU)

It says I have 79 days to start the step up but below that it says not allowed. I can see the 3 year warranty etc. Was browsing here a bit and noticed people had the same issue. An EVGA employee fixed it for them so I'm hoping mine can be looked at as well.

    Hi Fourzero,

I am sorry your not able to Step Up right away.  Please start a support ticket, and include a picture of the GPU itself, please make sure the Serial number on the GPU is clearly visible.  Next, please attach the full invoice to your support ticket.

Hi again. I'm being told that the card has been registered before me. The card was brand new / sealed and I have all the documents that prove that I am the owner of it. If the card had been opened, I would've returned it. Can also send ID + picture of me to prove my identity. If somebody has ordered this card, used the serial number on the box, registered it and then returned it - that's not exactly my problem or fault and the people who sold this card to me (a shop from your "Where to buy" list) should be contacted by EVGA. I understand getting results like this from Ebay, but this was purchased from a store that works with you.

Also, why are serial numbers on the box? This is the only reason this has happened in the first place. Now I can't step-up... for no fault of my own. The only reason I bought this card (EVGA) is because of the Step-Up since I need a 3090 (which I can't find here) for anything less than 2500+++ EUR.

I'd contact the place of purchase, especially if the GPU was not sold as an "open box" item

I've emailed them, but tomorrow I'll contact them via phone. The item was sealed, brand new, pre-ordered back in December for MSRP. If it was open box I would've declined it because of situations like the one I'm in right now.

MVP Jacob took a look at it after asking on Twitter and fixed it. Didn't have to deal with the store at all. Joined the queue. Pretty happy with the quick fix :) Thought I'd update this.
