So I was able to thankfully get a replacement screw set from EVGA support - very thankful for this btw. But they never ended up shipping me the thermal pads so before I call them back to get a replacement set, I am wondering if anyone has done this before: my 1080 Ti FTW3 currently has the EK waterblock on it, obviously that comes with thermal pads when you buy/install it, anyone know if the stock air cooler is compatible with them in terms of being 'in spec'?

The EKWB thermal pads for the VRAM and VRM are 0.5mm and the MOSFETs have 1.0mm pads. I used the stock backplate so I still have those pads.

Stock pads are 1 mm thick for the heatsink part (memory, VRMs etc.), 2 mm for the backplate.
