I've been qued since October for several of the 3080 cards but never recieved a email to buy one. Its almost February, am I getting skipped or not being emailed? Anyone else having this problem? It's really hard to get any card right now due to bots. When will I be sent a purchase email?

Thanks

You are not getting skipped over. I have been on the Step-Up Que list and did the Auto Notification Que for the RTX 3080 since September. EVGA is still on the people from 9-17-2020 in the Step-Up Que list as of this post and that is not counting people that didn't enter their Step-Up info into the follow spreadsheet.

It's going to be awhile since you went into Que in October.

Jesus. I guess I'll never get one since I just joined the queue. Oh well, makes me feel better about just grabbing a Dell aurora R11 with a 3080 for my racing sim rig. I was able to dicker with them and get 20% off.

You should check this thread for queue updates https://forums.evga.com/Spreadsheet-Megathread-10000-entries-m3170768.aspx  But they are still processing people in queue from 9/18 for 3080's, so you will be waiting awhile.

Many ways to spell queue , it's context that matters most for the spelling
Queue or Cue? there's also kew, ku, quew, q, quue, que, Q, qu, and kue.

    Many ways to spell queue.

    Incorrect.

Qué is the spanish word for "what".  It is not an alternative spelling of the word queue.

    https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Que

Cue is not the same thing as queue either.

Just stating that a word is spelled or pronounced similarly doesn't make them the same word or make them have the same meaning.  Que and queue are pronounced very differently and have very different meanings.  Cue is pronounced the same as queue, but has a very different meaning.  Some of the other words you provided appear to be made up, acronyms, or not used.  I am not sure what point you were trying to make.

If you have $1000 to spend on a video card, you should know how to spell queue.

Do you know how many times the word que appears in Jacob's official queue announcement post?  Zero times.

If I had a dollar every time someone misspelled "queue" and lost a dollar every time it was corrected...
    *does lots of math*
    *keeps doing math*
    this may take awhile...

So.. I actually had received an email that said I had 8 hours to buy a 3080 XC, or it would go to someone else. I called to ask EVGA if I could use this towards my step up. The said no. I let it expire.. oh well..

Still patiently waiting here for my only hope. I am in que since 9/24/2020 and no notification yet.

I just hope they notify when I am awake and during EST. It would suck to wake up knowing they sent a notification when I was sleeping.

Anyone know a way I can avoid this from happening. I wish they had a 12 hour window or 24 to purchase instead of just 8 hours.

    Thanks,
