EVGA b-stock registration for 1 year warranty?

Do I need to do all the steps for a B-stock GPU I bought at the end of Dec during EVGA's holiday time off?  Or since it's right from EVGA it isn't needed.  I looked at the warranty FAQ and didn't see anything about B-stock or is that still considered just a normal EVGA store purchase?

    You do not need to register it until you need support but we always recommend to have it registered just in case.
