OK so new build is up and running. But with how little space there is in my case; NZXT S340; the noise is unbearable. So I think the consensus pick is the Lian Li O11-D for cases these days, but since it comes with zero fans and only supports 120s, I need recommendations for fans that are daisy-chainable since I really want to avoid using a separate fan controller. I don't much care if it's a RGB or just a single color built into the fans (like the old days). My big need is to move a good amount of air as silently as possible; I want to keep this thing around 20dba and my current setup is closer to coming in at 30-35dba. So what are your case fan recommendations??

My suggestion is to use Noctua. They are not the cheapest option, but my expertise they perform very well. I care more about airflow, static pressure, quality and longevity. I can manage the cables, but usually use splitter cables over a fan controller. I have not used any other fans, so I cannot help you relate to various manufacturers or types.

Yeah, Noctua is definitely the consensus pick as the best; was hoping for an alternative since I need to buy 4 or 5 (seriously who sells a case without including a single fan in 2021 Lian Li?!?) so that ramps me up an extra almost $120-150.

Have you looked at the Lian Li options? I understand they make some options with good static pressure and airflow. I cannot give you advise on them based on my lack of experience, but look for high static pressure options in a search and then pick from there. There are other options which could reduce that cost probably by 20%-30% without much difference in airflow or pressure. Just make sure your configuration gets you positive airflow inside the case to reduce dust.

I literally just got F'd on checkout with a MSRP priced set of 3x120 Uni Fans. So I purchased 2 singles and will stick them in the case when it arrives (pulling air from bottom) and my 2 rad fans exhausting out the top. Looking to buy more when those Uni Fans come into stock again.

If you're running that ROG Strix X570 in your build, use Fan Xpert in AI Suite 3 for fan control if you're not..The adjustable fan curve/control should work perfectly for you too..I have a couple Noctua NF-P12 (19.8 dBA) that I like a lot.

Yeah; unfortunately slowing the fan speeds to acceptable noise levels mean that the temps get out of control due to how tight the spacing is and how much heat that MSI card creates (and traps) in the case. I don't understand why GPUs aren't produced/oriented so the fans are facing UP and set to exhaust, instead of down when they're in their PCIe slot. It made sense for blower cards; but not for these behemoths anymore.
