Just like the subject says, looking to upgrade my fans, and yes, I'm going with RGB. I have a corsair specific connector for a commander pro on my board, so I'm going to use that, and I don't like mixing up brands too much to save on overcomplicating my setup. That being said, I'm torn between the ML or QL models of RGB fans. Anyone have them, or have had them? Just looking for some input. I am going with 140mm to maximize silent operation, everything else in my case is 140mm or larger (I have 2 200mm fans on the front of my rig).

Thanks in advance for any advice or input you could offer!

Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.

From Corsair's specs they look pretty similar airflow and static pressure wise.  The ML has a nicer bearing but the QL has better RGB.

The QL series uses hydraulic bearings which is great but the ML series uses magnetic bearings with no touching parts so it's quieter and it's going to last you longer. The QL series comes with a 2 year warranty while the ML series comes with a 5 year warranty. The QL series focus is on RGB though, it's not really focused on performance. I would recommend the ML140 PRO RGB's since your focus seems to be quiet and RGB.

Thank you so much!!! I will say that yes, my primary focus is quiet. RGB is icing on the cake, so to speak. I really appreciate the advice, I will likely be going ML 140s due to your advice here. Thanks again!

I appreciate the advice here also! From what both you and RainStryke said, I'm likely going to be heading in the direction of the ML140s, as my primary focus is quiet and lots of air. RGB is just a nice extra. I appreciate the reply!
