Hello, I was wondering what all of you would recommend as a Benchmark for dialing in and Overclock or Undervolt. I am not very concerned with score, more-so with making sure the video card is fully stressed and stable.
No clue what I'm doing, but having fun trying to do it!

Port Royal is a good one & TimeSpy just avoid "FurMark" ... Nvidia drivers will limit card MHz & Power

I used to use Heaven years ago, didn't realize it was still a viable option! Cool GTX Port Royal is a good one & TimeSpy just avoid "FurMark" ... Nvidia drivers will limit card MHz & Power
Didn't know that about FurMark, I appreciate the heads-up. As to Port Royal and TimeSpy, looks like I'll have to stop being cheap and actually buy a proper tool! I've seen them around for people trying to get on scoreboards and figured that way why it cost as much as it does.. Though you get what you pay for, so if it works well I have no issue paying a bit!

Test the overclocks in each of the games you'll be running. Stability in benchmarks doesn't guarantee stability in games.

Deffinately, mostly want something just to run on a cycle while I dial it in.

kelkel1 Only for graphics, then?
Yep! However if theres a tool that stressed multiple components I would love to know what you recommend.

AIDA64 comes to mind. Not a benchmark, stability test.

I use a few of the ones mentioned. Of course Port Royal and other 3DMark benchmarks for ..well ..benchmarking :) Good to see how your rig compares to others in general, and particularly to see if your rig is under/over performing compared to rigs with similar specs. I think AIDA64 is an awesome bit of software, and some good stress tests built in so you can hit specific components (just CPU, just GPU, just memory, or any combination plus more), and is great for reporting too. Furmark I use occasionally, it's good for stressing and I like that you can run it for as long as you wish and watch GPU-Z at the same time to see what's going on in real time ..although you can do that with AIDA64 as well, but you don't get the bonus of watching a fuzzy donut turning on itself which is strangely mesmerizing... GPU-Z is good to run alongside either AIDA64 or Furmark.
