So I got my 3090 FTW3 Ultra today, installed it, updated the firmware for it. Loaded up Modern Warfare, maxed the settings out, kept the card at stock. Game crashes within 2 minutes and I get "Dev Error 5759" which is directly related to the video card. I looked at my card and it has 2 of the MLCC caps and 4 of the regular ones so I thought it would be ok. I loaded up FFXIV and played for 2 hours straight no issues, played Destiny 2 maxed out for an hour with no issues. All my drivers are up to date. If it is indeed the caps that are the issue then well (language removed) . Super disappointed right now. edit by Mod Cool GTX

That’s not a cap issue. That’s a video driver problem. All of those DEV errors are. Something needs optimization in the driver. I would report this on the Nvidia forums. They need to be aware of needed driver fixes.
Did you have RTX on by chance?

Will do, appreciate the insight. I had RTX on the first crash, turned it off and still crashed. I was in Ground War to test out the graphics.

Underclock the cards memory clock it does it on my 2080 super as well. The game is unstable even with boost clocks.

Did you do a clean DDU driver install? If not, might be worth a try. If that still doesn’t help, then it’s probably a driver fix that needs to be done. Try a regular 6v6 multiplayer mode or Warzone and see if it crashes.

It might be your rig overclock cause crash. Try test without overclock your see how it go! I have latest Nvidia driver so far no issue here.

Did a clean install of the driver. Did 6vs6 and Warzone and still crashed. Over on the Nvidia forums, people are reporting the same error message across different cards, 1080ti, 2080s so it looks to be a driver issue of some sort.

could be driver or game issue Helps if you list your Hardware & drivers  If you had any OC on your CPU, MB or RAM - set it to stock and retest ... any time you change hardware .. your previous OC may / or may not be stable

Weird question but what is your PSU? When MW came out I would crash when entering games until I upgraded my PSU.

Let me add a little clarification. The GRD for me do not allow the card to pull more than ~120 watts, forcing it to only us ~15% GPU usage. I had to use the Studio driver AND Precision X1's Target Power to force it to pull more power when it wants. The PX1 + GRD did absolutely nothing somehow.
