I currently have a Supernova 850 P2 PSU and am looking at purchasing a higher power PSU for my upcoming Threadripper system. I have my eye on the new Supernova 1300 G+ but my question - will the Cablemod cable set I currently have plugged into my P2 also work with the G+?

While we can't guarantee any third-party cables, if the cable set is compatible with a P2 power supply then it should also be compatible with a G+ power supply as well.

Will using third-party cables kill the warranty? I would love to switch to EVGA cables but you don't have them in white.

It's possible the warranty could be affected if any damage to the power supply is caused by faulty third-party cables. If anything were to occur I would recommend reaching out to our support team to explore what options might be available.

bob16314 See in the EVGA FAQs. You're good to go.
I don't think that list is very up to date though.

It's up to date. I know because I update it myself.

Well for example the evga store has a cable set up for sale 100-G2-13KR-B9 and on the compatibility list it isn't listed anywhere. I assume it's compatible with things like the 1300w g+ though because in the store section it includes GP, but in the actual compatibility tab for the product it skips over the 1300w g+ while including the 1000w g+ and 1600w g+ I have a question for you while you're here though, since I also bought a 1300w g+ like the OP. On the compatibility list there is a 1600w and under section, and while that doesn't include the G+ (It only lists g2/p2/t2 models) , on some compatibility sections for some of the cable sets it does show that the 1600w g+ is included though. But my actual question is this: If I have a 1300w g+ can I get a set that falls under the 1600w and under section on the compatibility list? 100-G2-16KL-B9 Like would that cable set be ok with a 1300w g+? Even though under the compatibility tab on the product page it only lists 1600w psus, on the compatibility list elsewhere on the site it words it as 1600w and under. I know it all seems a bit nitpicky but it's all because I actually really appreciate the quality of evga products and would like to see things along the site flow in a way that is as consumer-friendly as possible.

You are right about that cable set not showing on the FAQ. Thank you for pointing that out and I will have that updated. The 1600 watt cables should be okay with a 1300 watt power supply. The bigger concern would be using a set meant for a 850 watt power supply with something like a 1600 watt power supply. The lower wattage cable sets may have a smaller wire gauge, depending on the cable, which is why there are different sets for different wattage PSU's. But using a higher wattage cable in a lower wattage PSU should be fine.

I hate to dredge up an old thread but I have 200-gp-1300 power supply and need a cable for it. It has the all sideways connector/pinout on the power supply. Can someone help me find this cable?
