I recently purchased an EVGA SuperNova G3 750w PSU to replace my SuperNova G3 550w PSU. I need the extra wattage to drive my new video card which is a Radeon RX 5700 XT. I have my cable management done very neat and tidy in the case right now and I'd like to avoid tearing it apart and redoing it if at all possible. My question is, can I leave the existing cables in and just replace the the PSU?

Yes! I believe that you can, but if your putting in a new PSU your gonna want to make sure your connections are fresh and not brittle from age of use. I always change my cables when getting a new PSU, so I'm not worried about any shorts that could come from old cables. "Better safe than sorry".

My 550w PSU is only a year old. I’m not too worried about brittle connections. Thanks for the reply!
