I've had the card for about a year now, yesterday I noticed a loud ticking slightly grindy sound coming from my case, at first I thought a case fan was hitting a stray wire, but eventually I pinpointed it to the 2080, and then to fan 2 on it. It gets louder the faster the fan goes, though I can hear it at every speed level until I turn it off. It can go quiet at times even running at high speed, but it always goes back to being loud again.
Pulled the card to inspect it and I can see the problem fan isn't contacting anything, but when I wiggle it, it seems loose. The other fan is firmly in place. Maybe a bad bearing?
Is this something I can fix myself? Or does it sound like RMA time.
