Hello, 
 
I have a EVGA nForce 790 FTW motherboard (i know its older motherboard) which is currently running a geforce gtx 570, i wanted to upgrade this card to one that would support 4k output to my flat panel 4k tv mainly for watching 4k content. 
 
I got a EVGA geforce gtx 780 SC ACX 6gb graphics card for a good price but cannot get it to work properly probably due to the lack of uefi support from the motherboard bios.  Sometimes it will post but most of the time i get the no graphics card detected by the bios.
 
I've tested the card in a uefi motherboard with no problems. 
 
Can anybody confirm a 'modern' graphics card with 4k support that will work in my motherboard, or am i out of luck ?

Thank you for you answers and recommendations, i will look at those two recommended graphics cards.
 
I did also contact EVGA support and they confirmed that the GTX 700 series of cards were the first cards to have uefi bios.  EVGA have stated that the GTX 700 series of cards are backward compatible with non uefi motherboard bios.
 
Maybe a vga bios update for my GTX780 with help the problem ?
 
Current bios the card is running is :- 80.80.58.00.82
