So I've got some interesting behavior coming out of my graphics card.
I have the power limit maxed out to 122%, and in 99% of my games it stays at least below 130% spiking in power limit usage.
However in Star Citizen, when i quantum travel, even though my power limit is only 122%, my power percentage when QTing will spike to almost 140% frequently, but it's only spikes, the instant it spikes, the GPU downclocks. But when it goes down to 100, 90% power, it'll bring clocks back up and the cycle begins again.
I'm just wondering, can the VRMs on the XC Ultra handle 140% spikes like this? I've never seen any other game make my power go up to 140% (fortunately it's only for a few ms). Just making sure. Thanks!
