According to the UKIE/GSD top ten charts Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot reached no.1 in the UK in terms of boxed sales. This is especially impressive as the weekly charts, which ended on the 18th of January, were published just one day after Kakarot’s release. Even more impressive however is the fact that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s launch sales have exceeded 2018’s Dragon Ball Fighterz’s sales by 13%. Dragon Ball Fighterz later went on to sell over 4 million copies, becoming the second highest selling Dragon Ball game. The highest selling Dragon Ball title to date is 2016’s Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, which sold over 5 million copies. If Kakarot’s trajectory continues, then it could become one of the franchise’s most successful games.

It’ll be interesting to see how long Kakarot can maintain its no.1 position, and in the long run, how its sales will compare to Fighterz and Xenoverse 2.

The Dragon Ball franchise has raked in billions of dollars and no doubt will continue to rake in more cash in my personal opinion.

Im a big fan of the franchise. Great to hear this positive outcome. Every fan.of Dragon Ball wants a real actors.movie on this

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

Yeah, it should (existence of the first live action Dragonball movie has been erased from history via a wish from the dragon balls)

IGN gave it a 7, and in the same day gave Psikyo Shooting Stars Alpha (a collection of retro shmups) a 7 as well.  Comparatively the games are on completely different levels which makes me believe that Bandai Namco doesnt pay off IGN.
