May need to submit a support ticket for this, but figured I would see what kind of response I get here first...

I am getting ready to re-case my PC and I am going for a black and white theme however the NU Audio Pro has some red on it that I would like to spray with black Plasti Dip. My question to @EVGA is would this cause any issues? Would this void my warranty on the card? For clarification I am only looking to Plasti Dip the red portion of the card, which of course I would remove from the PCB prior to doing so.

Thanks!

Plasti dipping the shroud shouldn't be a problem as plasti dip can be removed to bring the shroud back to original condition.

As long as you can return the hardware to stock condition & cause no physical damage the warranty is not impacted

Thanks, this is my thinking as well. If no one from EVGA replies to this thread today I ma submit a support ticket just for confirmation. What I dont know at this point, is the shroud acting as a heat sink? If yes than me spraying Plasti Di on it may impair this ability and I dont want it to overheat, if that is a thing.

Officially, we don't support modifications/painting/etc. of any kind, including Plasti Dip, since the card needs to be sent to us in its original condition.

With that said, if you Plasti Dip a product and remove it all before you send it in, it should basically be in its original condition, right?  It's one of the more cleanup friendly products out there.
