Hello peeps,

Struggling with my water cooled Kingpin card for few weeks now.
I bought a low profile nvidia card to fire up the system as it doesnt boot up on its own.
Now it works with the budget card but my Kingpin gives error code 43 in device manager. System recognize the card but cant upgrade driver. Already rolled back to 353.38 and 436.30 nvidia drivers. Nothing changed. Also used DDU in safe mode. Flashed to standard bios with nvflash etc.
These are the infos from nvflash:
EEPROM ID (C8,4012) : GD GD25Q20 2.7-3.6V 2048Kx1S, page
Legacy BIOS ................ Pass
UEFI ..............................Pass
Firmware certificate ...... Pass
InfoROM ........................ Mismatch
Unallocated Space ........ Mismatch
Mismatch error : Command Compare Error
Is there any way to reflash infoROM somehow?
Any other ideas I can try with?
Thanks in advance

Code 43 can mean a lot of things...

#1 Fauly card.
#2 Fauly pci-e slot.
#3 Registry corruption.
#4 Card not receiving enough power.
#5 Corrupt vbios.

Thank you for your fast reply.
I have managed to successfully update all three vbios file. Those been sent to me by a Techpowerup member and those are all factory vbios files.
Power cant be a problem I use P1200 EVGA psu and I already checked other PCI slots.
I guess registry corruption or corrupted bios.
I wrote to EVGA as well if they can provide me their vbios so maybe that will fix my card.
I was wondering could a TT riser cable cause the issue?
I try to sort this vga out for few weeks now but somehow I just cant manage it seems :)

Yes, the riser cable could be the problem.

You can't test the card in the motherboard without the riser cable?

I cant as its already in a water tight custom loop so I cant adjust the fittings if I take it out and put it straight into a PCIE slot.

Hi,

I ended up with a new KPE card and my system runs properly since.
Never found out what was the problem.
I will keep testing the faulty card but only in a basic budget system as I assembled my loop again so I dont want to mess with it.
Hope you find your fix soon though.
