so im a little confused please help. i just purchased the Evga rtx 2070 FTW, i have a Antec1200 case and am looking to get away from my AsRock Fatality mobo, my Question is which Form factor is appropriate Per X299 mobo? Fatality is Atx, but dont see  x299 atx on evga products list. probably should ask this but does Gigabyte have more options, better products in mobos, i dont need a high end gaming, just want a good solid board, and good quality custom support, i know evga is hands down #1 in CS, gigabyte cs i have no idea. thanks for any and all feedback and help.

EVGA have 2 models of mATX and 2 models of ATX type of x299 boards. Take a look in EVGA product page.

EATX isn’t ATX.

Extended ATX doesn’t fit in all cases. Atx does fit in the majority of cases.

The only EVGA X299 boards I see are either mATX, or EATX which is wider than an ATX..From what I gather, an Antec 1200 case accepts mATX or ATX, but not an EATX.

If you get an mATX board and use a long video card, it might hang out over the right side of the mobo, but (should) clear SATA ports and whatnot.

An mATX mobo is 9.6in (244mm) wide.

An EVGA GTX 1060 SSC 6GB is 10.5in (266.7mm) long

Probably best to just get an ATX mobo.
