Helle there.
Last week i managed to upgrade my rig.I had a z370 ftw atx with a 750 g3 full modular PSU, 8700k and a Gtx 1080 classified. Than i decides to sell my graphic card and I bought a Rtx 2070 super. I’ve done my Ddu and when I plugged my new brand card :System does not POST, and POST code indicator reads “C”.I didn’t even touch the cables or the CPU. I checked my CPU in another PC ... no problems. Checked my psu.... no problems.Checked connections , changed cables for the new card , searched binned pins but problem still stay. I observed also that my szstem fans didn’t spin and one of the fan of the card was 100% always. Sounds weird!!! I don’t have other ideas that to buy another motherboard but I loved so much my m-atx that I came here to ask you some help.
Really sorry for my bad English.

Just one thing I didn’t flash my bios ever.... could it be something with the new Rtx?

Updating the bios would be a good idea.

Yes as Sajin said, update. Then if still no joy, try another slot. Also make sure all the fan blades can spin freely and no packing material got stuck on a blade. If the power supply leads are modular, double check where they plug into the base as well as the card. Found one loose on mine when I put my 2080 in recently. Was sure they were all seated before.

That is me in the picture, anyone else ever pet a live Lion?

A BIOS update might fix it.

But what board do you have?..You say it's a Z370 Micro and you also say it's a Z370 FTW.

If it's an FTW, you take out the RTX 2070 Super use the DisplayPort or the HDMI connections on the motherboard to get graphics from the 8700K and see if it boots up..If it's the Z370 Micro, it has no video connections on the motherboard.

If it's an FTW, you can just take out the RTX 2070 Super without even connecting your monitor if it doesn't have DisplayPort or HDMI connectors and see if it gets past POST..That might also be possible with a Micro.

When there's no graphics card detected, the BIOS will auto-switch to using the CPU graphics unless you changed that setting in the BIOS..When a graphics card is detected, the BIOS will auto-switch to using the card..You may need to clear CMOS to put the BIOS back to defaults.

Long story short = If you think everything else is OK, the RTX 2070 Super might be bad if a BIOS update don't fix it..Then you should try it in another PC or take it to a PC repair shop for testing to be sure.

Hello and thanks a lot for your advice. My board is a micro z370 and has no video output, sorry again but probably my post wasn’t so clear. As far as I see there is no way to get even in the bios. Today I tried an 1060 ASUS Gtx of a friend and the problem didn’t disappear. The only part I cannot check is my motherboard. I sent a ticket to the EVGA support to see if I have to rma.
