Z390 FTW needs to be updated

Hello, a friend of mine has just bought yesterday an used Z390 FTW with bios 1.02 with a brand new 9700KF the problem is that his mainboard's bios will have to be updated... i can lend him my ancient Celeron G4930... tomorrow i will have to mount his rig but i've seen in the cpu support list that it is not mentioned ! In fact only high end 1151 cpus are listed to be supported for this mainboard so will it boot up to update his bios to 1.08 if i place the Celeron ?

    That MB ---> Supports Flashing BIOS without the CPU

    Thanks for your answer... meanwhile i've tried with the Celeron G4930 and it booted up 
    Then i have been able to mount his rig with his brand new 9700KF and the bios 1.08
