Hi I'm back!!!
 
I didn't realize that there needed to be 50 posts to my name in order to ask about buying a used Evga SR-2 here on the Evga forum.  Not only that but the post have to be of high quality too!!!
 
The thread has been locked (fair enough) so I've created a new thread EVGA SR-2 #2 - But this time it's different as I don't want to get banned otherwise I'll never reach 50 posts high quality or not.
 
I've found an SR-2 this at a fair price considering its age with an original box but not received this yet and also AN other X58 motherboard for posterity as when X58 existed I wasn't quite as into the technology as I am now.
 
I'd be interested to know how many other SR-2 users there are here who post regularly and how they find their boards after all these years.
 
It'll be possible to use a RAID card with the SR-2 and other X58 boards to use more SATA III 6 Gb/s connectors for an even better experience.
 
When the SR-2 is here and the Dimas Tech XL test bench I'll be able to speak about and ask about the board more - Thanks

Raid cards will work great on them, just remember they are PCIE 2.0 and only support legacy bios (no UEFI).
