Sorry ahead of time if this thread should have been in "General Hardware".
Anyway figured I'd share my latest build. This will be my new workstation for the next couple years, and I'm pretty satisfied with the final outcome. I've built other friends Ryzen builds, and had wanted to for sometime now replace my very aging workstation with one, so I finally got it done. With AMD having their 50th Anniversary I knew I wanted to do something halfway special. The Motherboard was the last item purchased, and I decided go X470  instead of X570 route simply for the fact, at this point most bugs should have been worked out, and the fact this computer will run 24/7, and we all know those Chipset fans on the 570's will ultimately fail. I would have loved to pickup the 5700XT 50th Anniversary, however at the time of ordering the 590, the 5700XT had not yet even been unveiled.
Hardware used:
Gigabyte X470 Aorus Gaming 7 WiFi
Ryzen 7 2700X 50th Anniversary
Sapphire RX 590 Nitro+ 50th Anniversary
Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 3200Mhz(32GB)
Crucial MX500 1TB M.2
Antec Edge 650W
5x UpHere 120MM RGB Fans
Lian-Li Lancool One Champagne Gold Edition 606/999(really went perfect with this build)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall build cost, was way cheap given all the sales prior to the launch of the 5700XT and the 3rd Gen Ryzens, and all said and done landed at $1260. Sadly no EVGA equipment this time, but that's for the home computers lol(besides EVGA never sent me no Free T-Shirt)

Very cool build to honor the 50 years AMD has been around and I wouldn't have really considered a gold colored case but have to say that it does look really nice. The white also makes me kind of wish I had gone with the white DG-77 case instead of black since it does look very sharp on yours.

Thanks for the positive feedback fellas!
And I agree, Gold is NEVER my cup of tea, however I thought for this particular build/occasion, it would fit the bill just right. And thanks Rj! I picked up corsair utility yesterday evening. Having owned Lian-Li cases on and off since I got into the computer world, I would agree, they generally are like nothing else, though i'll admit this case "looks" nice but is nowhere near the quality I am used to through Lian-Li, far too much plastic/steel and not enough brushed aluminum. Benchmarks scores were not uber given the RX 590, but still fair.
Time Spy: 5172 (Graphics Score: 4855 | CPU Score: 8221)
    Firestrike: 14,316 (Graphics Score: 16,929 | CPU Score: 20,817)

I'll post some Cinebench scores after a little bit, but no doubt walks circles around my 4790K
Welp quick status update, since system had been finished and windows installed, I was having some odd issues, which today grew worse. I had told myself never Corsair RAM again........I should have kept my word. 2 of the 4.........HALF LOL! of the sticks were bad. Ran Windows Memory Diag, Memtest86, and P95, all error'd on the 2 specific sticks. Figure may as-well test in a separate known working machine, and same outcome . Build a lot of machines in the last 10+ years, and I can say I've had more bad Corsair RAM then Crucial, Mushkin, and Gskill combined.  So let it be know, Corsair has awful QC. I've had maybe 1 stick bad in a batch of 4 before, but never 2.

This is amazing modern computer, something what most people like to see.
My approach is little different. But this is what most customers like to see today in their room.

Lian Li made best deal ever with their cheaper cases.
If they abandon classic Lian Li style and aluminium I will cry.

very nice build. I've updated my main build with a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X. Though i admit I have to train my cables better for the GPU.

Yeah GPU cable's are always the most PITA cable to try and hide lol. How are you liking your 3700X machine?

you know what will hide those gpu cables really good is the EVGA powerlink accessory.

That thing is actually really handy for shortening up the run & making the gpu power cables way easier to deal with...

Very cool build, the Gold ^ white do make it look different alright, nice grab on that Lia Li Case as well Limited edition runs are always nice the same I have with my Lian Li TYR PC-X 2000B which was one of 200 released, it was a silent release as it was more of a design case than an actual usable one, the later Lian Li TYR PC-X 2000F was made for mass production, not all of their Limited Editions have a LE tag on them

Also make sure you add it in the MDS RIGS page here then I can add it to the MRList I amde for Chrome M Dragon  :)

Hope this system does you well, even though I would of gone for a second hand Radeon RX Vega 56 for around 180 a 200 USD it's cheaper and destroys the RX 590 by around 35if not more.
I'd always choose price/performance over looks, especially these days.

Other than That Sapphire's Nitro series are their best and the RX 590 basically a slightly OC'ed RX 580 with a 12nm die isn't too bad either.

Thanks man! yeah I wanted to do something with a little more oomph then the 590, however the 50th Anniversary Edition just went perfect, as they didn't have the 50th for the Vega 56/64. And at the end of the day, this system doesn't see much for games, so it'll suffice lol. Do you still have your PC-X 2000B?

Yes still using it, it was a pain to work with to be very honest, you can check it out in my current MODS RIGS page :)
the Sapphire Nitro+ RX Vega 64 Limited Edition 2.0 8GB HBM2 will do me enough good for the upcoming few years for sure.

Also I look forward to add you to my MR List here:

Make a post there and I can add your system to the list, then I can give it a +1 and a comment as I done with all the systems
