NVIDIA has confirmed that they will be launching a new RTX series of gaming graphics cards, called RTX Super, on July 2nd. There will be three models of the new GPUs at launch - RTX 2060 SUPER, RTX 2070 SUPER and RTX 2080 SUPER. The review embargo will lift on the same day as launch day for RTX 2060 SUPER and RTX 2070 SUPER, but the embargo for RTX 2080 SUPER will prevail until "later in July". Pricing is yet to be announced, but according to the source, it will be "later this week".

Hopefully the card doesn't come with the super text on the card looking exactly like that.

Keep in mind all these cards are going to be shipped to AICs without the obligatory (vRAM + power phase) kit that was there before. This allows AIBs to use superior power phases and vRAM and lower their own cost while increasing performance. Considering all of these chips are unlocked, they will also be able to drive more TDP to these GPUs to push out higher clock rates. It’s even possible that AIBs will be able to reduce their own cost enough to actually beat NVIDIA’s MSRP – although I wouldn’t hold my breath for it.

    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti TU102A $1199.99

So potentially an unlocked vcore / power 2080 Ti for the same price than a regular one. Hardware wouldn't be as good as a Kingpin but it would be worth to see what it can achieve :)

It would surprise me as well as this would be an insult to everyone who paid top dollar for a premium 2080Ti like the Kingpin, HOF or Lightning.

But like cool GTX i'm curious to see what will happen

These 'super' cards are simply to deflect attention away from AMD Navi. The big question is pricing. Pricing also needs to be good.

Exactly, and only little navi is out, so 2080 ti won't get super treatment.

The RTX 2080ti has no competition from AMD so NVIDIA won't need to improve anything.

it matches the number of interest level with the series

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.
