Question to Z390 Dark and Asetek (gen6) AiO owners, can you confirm the backplate is pushing against one of caps at the back of the PCB? I see my mount bending in one corner up to the point the decorative cover of the block cracked (h150i), exactly where those caps are but the board is packed in a case I can get to the back of the MB to check it without removing the MB.
See the bottom left part with 3 caps.

Hmm usually the Backplate on the Gen 6 usually floats around little even when tightened all the way. Maybe a EVGA CLC owner and dark owner can chime in here since that cooler is a Gen 6

Also this seems to be that you didn't tighten in a X pattern if you block cracked from uneven pressure.

Did the block on the front break or the backplate break

Nothing major is broken (yet?) only the top cover with logo has minor cracks, i just noticed one corner of the metal bracket seems to be bending.
EVGA CLC's are Gen5 unless something changed recently.

This is why I think it doesn't fit well:

Reseated 3 times, I keep getting this result. Have had at least 6 or 7 AiOs but this never caught my eye.

EVGA Clc use the same mounting in the back that cover the chips in the rear like the person above said maybe it something with the block itself

Sorry didn’t realize EVGA had gen 5 I would try and see if you could replace the unit. Because for it seems weird. Maybe other dark and gen 6 members can chime in or if you got to the clc forums here there is a guy from Asetek maybe you can contact him
