GTX 1060 DP not working

GTX 1060 3GB, tried all three ports and same result. Monitor comes on but nothing on the display and even the OSD does not work.
 
HDMI works but DisplayPort does not. Need DisplayPort working as higher res screens need it.
 

  


Corsair Obsidian 750D Airflow Edition + Corsair AX1600i PSU
My desktop uses the ThinkVision 31.5 inch P32p-20 Monitor.
My sound system is the Edifier B1700BT

    Do you get the same results with another monitor & different dp cable?

    i only have the one panel with displayport

    Maybe give that a go..DisplayPort 1.4 is what your card has.

    program says my card is already updated
     
    peculiar as the panel light is on, display has nothing showing
     
    given BIOS does not even show, this suggests the DP is not working properly at all.
     
    Seems that Maxwell and Pascal both are borked, DP on either card does not work.
