GIGABYTE today rolled out the Aorus RGB AIC NVMe SSD series. Built in the full-height single-slot AIC form-factor with PCI-Express 3.0 x4 host interface, the card combines a Phison PS5012-E12 NVMe 1.3 controller with Toshiba BiCS3 TLC NAND flash, and comes in capacities of 512 GB and 1 TB, which are equipped with 512 MB and 1 GB of DRAM cache, respectively. The 1 TB variant offers sequential transfer speeds of up to 3,480 MB/s reads, with up to 3,080 MB/s writes; up to 610,000 IOPS 4K random reads, and up to 530,000 IOPS 4K random writes.

You use GIGABYTE RGB Fusion software to control the lighting on this card. Both cards are backed by 5-year warranties, provided the card stays below their rated endurance of 800 TBW for the 512 GB model, and 1600 TBW for the 1 TB model. The company didn't reveal pricing. Personally I think the prices will be high but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Guess if you have Gigabyte software it might be good. Otherwise the RGB lighting won’t match and just look bad.

    I have one of these cards .  It's a GIGABYTE GP-ASACNE2100TTTD 1024.2 GB ( 1tb ) .
Cost me $250.00 plus tax from The EGG .
    It works well with my Z370 Classified K in PCIe slot PE6 through the Intel Chipset and DMI IO;
with one exception, that probably hasn't anything to do with the SSD card .

Namely, ever since I switched my board from legacy boot to UEFI boot, my computer always
restarts to BIOS when I use Windows power button, "restart" selection .  Everything else
works really good, and I don't restart that much, so I've given up on fixing it .  All I have to
do is press F10, and then enter key and Windows starts right up .  Also "shut down" is normal,
and cold boot with the computer case start switch is normal .  Boots to log-in screen in 13-14
seconds with Windows fast boot on .

For those who want to know if a PCIe SSD running through the chipset vs the CPU PCIe lanes
gets restricted, I checked the Intel specs.  The answer is no on Z370 platform with DMI 3.0 .
It is rated at 3.93 Gb/Sec.  This setup using PCIe slot PE6 on the EVGA motherboard
takes no CPU PCIe lanes away from the EVGA 1080 GPU :)

Performance is good as measured by Microsoft's built in WinSAT tool .  The following are the
approx. averages of three tests :
seq. read is 3100.00 Mb/Sec.,   seq. write is 3200.00 Mb/Sec.
    Advertised speed :
    seq. read 3480 Mb/Sec.,   seq. write 3080 Mb/Sec.

For comparison my HyperX Savage SSD on the same system gets :
    seq. read 530.0 Mb/Sec.,   seq. write 513.0 Mb/Sec.
    Advertised speed :
    seq. read 560 Mb/Sec.,   seq. write 530.0 Mb/Sec.

For more comparison my Western Digital Black Performance 7200 rpm 1tb hard drive gets :
    seq. read 142.0 Mb/Sec.,    seq. write 185.0 Mb/Sec.

Finally for some perspective of true speed, my RAM through-put averages out at 38,611.26 Mb/Sec.
    according to WinSAT .

Gigabyte's SSD Tool Box software works too, but you can't control the RGB lights with the EVGA board .
They just run on, and on .  Otherwise looks good .  AORUS Bird is small, and doesn't stand out .
Heat sink side plates look good, and work good .

Overall I have to say I like this SSD .  It gives no problems, installs w/o a special driver, is very fast,
and works well with the EVGA Z370 Classified K mother board as my operating system drive .

That's all .  Enjoy your tech!
