Monitor Deep Sleep - is known to cause some issues - its good to turn it off
 
Usually if PC is "off for hours" - just turn the monitor off is a good way to save energy anyways


I will have to try that - turning monitor off - I don't get the 5 beep thing at startup often at all, but do on some occasions. Nice tip!

I never turn off monitor, and my rig is usually off from 9:00 P.M. until ~4:00 P.M. the following day.
 
I only occasionally, and it appears, randomly, get the rapid beeps and d6.
 
If it is a monitor issue, why does turning the PSU on and off seem to resolve it, at least temporarily?

Had a similar issue when I was running 2 EVGA 970's in SLI. Turns the master card had a damaged display port connection and I has to place the cable connection just right to get a steady signal. They were used cards but I got them to work.

That is me in the picture, anyone else ever pet a live Lion?
