Hello everyone, To begin, Please Apologyze for my english, i'm french I just changed my video card. I had a ZOTAC 1080 Ti and bought an EVGA rtx 2080 ti black edition I only have two games Destiny 2 and PUBG I have between 80 and 110 FPS with my old card. And since I installed the new I turn between 20 and 30 FPS. I uninstalled the drivers with DDU and installed the latest drivers. unfortunately, I still have the same problem. The game runs at 25 FPS and so there is a big latency. My screen is a 100htz Did you have the same problem? Thank you Regards

I will check later tonight when I get home. I have destiny 2 but haven't played it in a while. I do play BFV and it stays at a constant 144fps @ 1440 in max fidelity mode. Same with Diablo 3, but hell my cell phone can run Diablo also so it's not a true benchmark.

Putting the old card back in restores your fps back to normal?

Try locking your voltage/frequency to the 1.2mv range inside msi afterburners voltage/frequency curve editor. Locking your voltage/frequency to the 1.2mv range will force the card to run at a constant voltage/frequency just like kboost. You can access msi afterburners voltage/frequency curve editor by press ctrl+f after opening afterburner. Press ctrl+l after selecting the last point on the graph to lock the range. Hit the check mark button on the main screen to apply the lock. Your card should boost up to the frequency show inside the voltage/frequency curve editor. Should look like this if you've done it correctly... Note: Your cards voltage won't actually run at 1.2mv. The voltage will actually run at default voltage.

So I just played some destiny 2 , and FPS at 4k highest settings the game is running around 90 to 105 fps @1440p i'm locked at 144fps. I have to guess there is something up with your drivers most likely. or the card isn't boosting properly. but still a software issue somewhere.

Hello Guys, Sorry for the response time. I check with msi afterburner but i can't modify the voltage (option is grey) i reset completly my OS (Windows 10) I install just the minimum, same problem I'm not sure but i swap the alimentation cable for the GPU (6 pin) and after that the frequency start to 300 at 1350. So my problem is fix :) It's really weird, but thank you everyone. Have a nice day Bye bye ;)

Glad it got resolved. Sounds like it was either a bad cable seat or a bad cable in general.

+1 push on the wires & not the plastic adapter, sometimes the wires will not fully seat - instead they get pushed into the plastic if the pin fit does not align or is too tight
