EVGA, if you make a new PCIe sound card geared toward gamers/desktop users or just create a different software suite with features designed for gamers/desktop users. Here are some features i think people would enjoy.
 
  • Scout Mode
  • Smart volume control (limits abrupt volume changes)
  • Voice changer/morphing 
  • Microphone features (noise reduction, smart volume, echo canceling) 
 
If you add any acoustic engine software features, please make sure they work with both Stereo and 5.1 headphones.
 
I'm tempted to try the NU Audio card for gaming. Just wish NU Audio software had features i like in other audio software.

    Yeah thats what I was thinking my Nuno card is on the way but after seeing reviews I think I will send mine back when it arrives. But I still like EVGA products better then Creative Labs so I  will wait untill Evga adds all the things you  mentioned.

    I wish we knew more information on which software features they plan on adding to the NU Audio sound card. I would hate to drop $250 for it, only for them to come out with a different pcie sound card, that has different hardware and software features 8-10 months from now. Look at how many different sound card other mfg make.

    Looks like evga might have a 5.1 sound card in the works. Now if only we could find out what software features they might be adding in the future.

    I hear people saying stuff like " all Creative software does has is just EQ presets etc". If that is true, it shouldn't be too hard for other companies add the same software features.
