I have a 2080 ti (xc ultra). I know the default fan curve isn't to spin up till 50 degrees.
I wanted to keep things a little cooler though so I set the fan to run at lower rpms until the temps hit 50 degrees. Any real issue with the fans doing that? Will it kill their lifespan at all? Like I said, I'm sure this is a stupid question, but figured I would ask.

Hi there - I'm running a 2080 XC Ultra and have the same question, appreciate the OP asking.

Also, what is the utility to use to adjust the fan curve and how do you do it? Any YouTube videos I could check out?

EVGA does sell the 5yr & 10 yr warranty upgrade (for a nominal cost)

(I bought 10yr for both of my 2080Ti & I'm running them 24x7 Folding@EVGA)

Happy to help

I always run my GPU card fans @ min of 30% and up with a custom fan curve
