That's how I have it set up. It is when you click on "Check now" that it says a new update is available 3.9 even though I have 3.10 installed.

Got it. You may need to go back to 0.3.9 to get your LED Screen back.

Not sure what you mean by getting my LED Screen back. Everything seems to be working with 3.10 installed other than thinking it is still version 3.9

I think he doesn't have an issue with the program. I think what he is saying is that the new update of PX1 will show that there is an update when he is using 0.3.10. Can you please confirm if this is correct? Edit: I just tested this on our system in the office and I cannot replicate the issue. Can you provide a screenshot? -Jacob B.

My LED screen works and displays correctly for a single card. I do not have two cards so neither of your screen shots look like mine with one card. All functions of PX1 work for me. No issues other than PX1 seems to think it is v 3.9 when 3.10 is installed. I just finished uninstalling, cleaned drive, restarted, and then reinstalled PX1. Everything works fine but the incorrect registry of v 3.9 still persists. I was happy to see that my previous preferences were still stored and loaded with the new reinstall. W10 home 64 bit 1803

For those of you experiencing the issue; Please try uninstalling the program using Windows. Please then go to "C:/Program Files/EVGA" and delete the Precision X1 folder. These would be config files for the program. I looked into them and they (should not) be effecting / causing this. You can delete these to see if this helps however. I personally would keep them somewhere as a backup, as your settings would then be saved in the event you install older versions of PX1 for whatever reason. -Jacob B.

Ok, been working on this for a while now and no luck. It has been impossible to delete the Precision X1 file as it says a folder or file is in use. I let the computer sit for 10-15 minutes and tried again but a folder or file was still open or in use. Having 3.10 installed I "checked for Update" again and it still said newer version 3.9 was available. So I downloaded it and v 3.9 was installed. I then "checked for Update" again and no new version was offered. I found in Program Files(x86) an EVGA folder with the old Precision XOC and Precision 16 and deleted those. I uninstalled PX1, tried to delete Precision X1 folder again (no luck), cleaned drive, etc, restarted, tried to delete Precision X1 folder again (no luck), reinstalled 3.10 with no problem, "Checked for Update" and again was offered 3.9. I looked around and there is a (WinRing0.sys) and (WinRing064.sys) file in Program Files/EVGA dated 10/20/15 and in Program Files (x86) there are the same two files but dated 11/16/2017. Not sure if these two files would be conflicting. I tried looking for any folder or files in Task Manager that might have been opened and found none. So something buried was still running.

Have you tried restarting the system after uninstalling to see if it will allow you to delete the items "in use" upon restart? They shouldn't be in use if the program was uninstalled. Additionally, What version of Windows are you running? -Jacob B.

Yes, I have waited between 10-15 minutes with computer idle and still got folder or file in use. I've never had this issue before when trying to delete a folder. Did you check in the WinRing sys files to see if they might be a problem? Thanks

Thanks
Try deleting the file in safe mode.

EVGATech_JacobB For those of you experiencing the issue; Please try uninstalling the program using Windows. Please then go to "C:/Program Files/EVGA" and delete the Precision X1 folder. Please then download, and re-install the latest version of Precision X1. Please reply back and let me know if the issue persists. -Jacob B. Edit: Updated install location.

I think I'll wait now for the next install and see what happens. Back into my busy mode with other things.
