Hi and TIA!
I have a gtx 760sc, I want to upgrade it to either a 1060 or 1070! My cpu is a i7 4820k ivy bridge.
Was wondering if i upgraded my gfx card, would it bottleneck my cpu?

You should be fine. I had a 1080Ti with a i7 3930k and it was fine.
That was at 1080P and 2k.

    I would say find a nice used 1080 or a 1080Ti. I just got a year old 1080Ti Hybrid for 500$.
Or a 1070Ti  EVGA warranty will follow the card to the next owner until the 3 years from the time it left EVGA.

Depends too on your resolution and budget. 1060 6gb can handle 1080p just fine, but 1070 will go further with it. Ivy bridge shouldnt feel like bottleneck with nowadays games even if you get better than 1070.

I would get as best gpu i would get with your budget. Even used count. Just little bit cautious with mining rig gpus, these can be cheap but not be best choice after all

As others have said, there will be no bottleneck. I am currently in the process of rebuilding my PC but currently am running a GTX 1070ti on an i5-2500k. Performance is great, just not in games that tax the CPU a lot. I'll be moving the 1070ti to the new system, it's a great card, as are the 1060 and 1070.

If you really want a 1060, go with the 6GB version.

The RX590 beats the 1060 and matches the 1070/ti for $279 (with three free games).
I would look for a 1080ti on eBay or on the EVGA user market.
