As the Title says - Gamers Nexus just released an interesting article about how board manufacturers are out of compliance with Intel's 95w TDP spec on the 9th gen CPUs, often pushing 150w +
EVGA while having looked good in other reviews of their Z390 VRM and power management is named as well as Asus and MSI on this issue.

I think I have same issue with i8700 processor on the EVGA H370 stinger board
To have the system working well with 95W TDP cooler, I have to disable the turbo mode. If it is not disabled, the system gets too hot when it is under load as the CPU runs at turbo frequency all the time...
I would really wish a setting in the BIOS, which ensures the CPU is operated within specified TDP limit. Is this something EVGA could add for this board? (taking into consideration that the  EVGA H370 stinger board is potentially used inside Mini-ITX cases...) Thanks

System: EVGA H370 Stinger MB, Intel Core i7 8700 CPU, Noctua NH-L9i Cooler,  Crucial Ballistix Sport LT DDR4-2666 DIMM CL16, Samsung 960 Evo M.2, Corsair SF450 PowerSupply, Lian Li PC-Q21B Case
