I had to remove an old 980ti and subsequently removed the Precision X software. I don't see any traces on the hard drive of the software existing any more. However, when Windows starts, it tells me there is an update for Precision X. I've checked the startup tab in Windows Task Manager and there isn't anything there. I've done a search in my registry from Precision and it returns zero results. Where else should I look to remove all traces of the software?

Reinstall the software. Choose a proper uninstall via the Windows Control Panel. Once removed restart the PC. See if the issue continues.

Reinstall the software then use revo uninstaller to uninstall it. That should do it.
