Hello, I recently purchased an Nvidia GeForce 1080Ti SC2 Gaming from Amazon (August 15th), for 788,84 Euros (not dollars) in on amazon.de (German Amazon). I registered my product within 14 days and submitted the invoice pdf of my product. On the German evga site, when navigating to step-up I get notified to do the step-up on the US site. And on the US site, when reading the instructions, I need to put my purchase price in US dollars. What dollar amount would I use? Do I use the google currency converter? Do I need to account for the fact that the dollar to euro exchange rate was maybe slightly different on August 15 rather September 20 (when I plan to queue up for the 2080Ti)? I'm also assuming that the calculated cost will include all necessary VAT (taxes). I am just wanting everything to go smoothly when I join in on the RTX step-up rush on September 20th.

Thanks for the information.

I think you convert what you paid on the day of purchase.  You could always call it in or email them to be sure.

Use this Associate Code at your checkouts or follow these instructions for Up to 10% OFF on all your EVGA purchases:

If you reside in the EU you MUST do stepups for your products via https://eu.evga.com/

If you attempt to use the USA website you will be unable to fill in your EU country.

On eu.evga.com once I log in, navigate to my products, and click on the "view details" button on the product, it shows the following message when I scroll down to the step-up part (copy-pasted):

    "Step-Up Information:
The EVGA Step-Up allows you to upgrade your product within 90 days of your original purchase date. For details, look over our  section under Support.
    Start a new Step-Up. Days Left 57
Please log in to https: // www. evga. com to process your Step-Up."

How does one step-up in Europe without going to the US site?

Edit: I put spaces in the link so that the forum didn't delete the text.

    Hello DBizzozero,

Upon further review I see that you have a US address on your EVGA account. You'll need to update this to match the address you current reside in so that you can properly submit a step up request to avoid any issues.

    Regards,

    Regards,

Ah I see, I have a US billing address since I used to live in the US but moved to Germany for work; my credit card is in the US. But my shipping address is in Germany. I don't have a German credit card but I do have a bank/debit card with Euros (what I used to buy my GPU). I went ahead and made my billing and shipping addresses match and everything seems to work now from the eu.evga.com site now (the button appears for "Start New Step-Up").

But my concern now is how to pay for the Step-Up if debit with an IBAN is not accepted (or is it)?

Also, will the new RTX 2080Ti be available in the EU as well or only US (I noticed the 1080Ti doesn't show up on the Step-Up list in EU)?

We just have to wait and see When & What EVGA adds to the Step-Up plan

Is PayPal an option in the EU ?

Last order I made direct from EVGA, the CC check had some sort of issue (No idea what ?)  So, I used the same CC with PayPal and order went straight through .... go figure

Yes, Paypal is an option (and seems to be the only option) in Germany. I tested this by attempting to buy something from the evga store and going all the way to where payment information is gathered. Paypal was the only option listed. Now I just need to check with Paypal if I can just direct deposit money with an IBAN without needing to create an account (I don't have a Paypal account and don't want one).

edit: figured out my cost question.  But now I'm curious about the actual cards you send us, they are 'reference models'? So that's those with one blower fan?

No, compare the part number on thestep up list. The XC Black is not a blower model, it is the dual fan model.
