I was interested in that evga Powerboost gadget, I thought for $14.95 I'd take a chance and order one. Then I saw evga wanted close to a hundred bucks to ship something (that would weigh maybe two ounces and could be sent in an envelope) to Canada. Not in this lifetime, goodbye evga.

Well not being in the USA can cause extra but nowhere near $100 to Canada. UPS SurePost, USPS delivery ($7.95) in the US. Well unless you are shipping with a One Hour Delivery Time that is not offered.

What do you need a power boost for? That is the most important question currently.
What motherboard are you using and how many gpu’s do you have to need this item?

kevdalfer Their horrendous shipping charges (to Canada) are enough to keep me from ordering direct from them. I like their products, but always deal brick and mortar for video cards. I find most vendors find a way to get around giving you back all of your money on a return, all website/store claims mean to me is paper will not refuse ink.
Over from Don't ever buy from EVGA.com - they will rip you off Post #57I think it is more about finding something to complain about.

He's not wrong , I chose the cheaper shipping and this is what I got ... I'm sure if the OP were to phone and speak to someone eVGA would find a better way to ship such a small item. Edit : A positive attitude is also recommended when making that call

Maybe it is? But that is UPS Worldwide Expedited the highest Cost for Shipping. Most of the Web Stores in the EU will not even ship to the USA. Even the EVGA EU Web Store will not allow us to order and ship to the US. A Draconian Warrior, Almost looks like Robbie's Better Half

There are only 2 choices . I'm only in Canada same as the OP . IMO he would be better off to call rather than complaining on here Also ... nice tail on that warrior ... hehe

Well if it is really that big of a Deal for the OP I have 5 or 6 of this item (NEW) I can send him one for Free. Look up some other Newer Item like a Graphics Card, what is the Cost then? The OP should have Call or contacted Customer Service or emailed them asking for other shopping. Still would like to know what Motherboard the OP is going to use this on.

Thanks Hillguy for documenting the shipping price quote Like I mentioned that is probably wrong ---> Looks like a program (auto ship calculator) issue to me.

EVGA isn't alone here. This is why I got a PO box LONG ago just across the border. 20 minutes away, and it has saved me thousands in shipping over the years. Just purchased tires off Amazon that were $330 shipping to my door.....PRIME free shipping to PO box.

I'm impressed that you can ship tires to a PO box -- it must be very large OK, I've elevated the concern that the Canada shipping calculator "might be giving wrong information" Lets hope by end of day Monday or Tuesday, we learn if these prices are correct or not

Where I go, they will accept freight as long as it doesn't exceed 4,000 lbs and no longer than 8'. I have had engine blocks, frame sections, transmissions, suspensions, and even a couch sent there.

Hi kevdalfer, clearly this is wrong, and we're looking into it. I'd expect this to be fixed within a business day. If not, please let me know.
