I spent of 2 hours trying figure out how to install the M2 NVMe on the board.

I found it impossible with the given screws.
I read all the documentation and test with all possible screws.

On this board, there are 3 M2 slots: Key-E and 2 Key-M.
Key-E come with a bolt-in standoff and a screw in bag that comes with the board.
Key-M comes with 3 holes position with one that has already screwed in and another screw on of that.
Obviously, I need to use Key-M for NVMe.
The problem is the 2-screw combo are way too short; the standoff screw has about 2 mm thread, and the screw that goes in to the standoff is like 1.5 mm.  So it doesn't work since the NVMe is like 1 mm thick (I tried an hours to get it to screw in).

Funny that the bolt-in standoff of Key-E and the screw would work perfectly.

Anyone have experience with this?

The left screws are the standoff and the screw goes to the standoff for Key-M.

The right screw is the one that goes into Key-E bolt-in standoff.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues installing your M.2. Please upload a picture of the M.2 as installed, and we can look into this issue.

you may have hit another reported problem where the length of the M.2 is a  small bit too long and the screw has to be at a slight angle or it might be a position off set on the stand off.

I was able to use the screw with out causing cross threading but these is a small noticeable  bend.

There are pictures  from the other person  in the thread.

The position of the slots were actually almost a deal breaker for me, I think I'll have to use vertical mount for vcard, i feel like its going to feed to much heat to it.. gotta buy a pcie rizer i guess ...
