Hey all
As topic states I am having issues with a video problem..
I have a GEFORCE GTX 1080 FTW and recently while playing games like LOTRO ( Lord of the Rings Online) my monitors will just turn off then back on again(it is not a flicker, I can hear a click inside the computer like both monitors have been turned off then back on again). This is happening more and more. Also I leave my Computer on and turn it off weekly, Now when I get up and turn on main monitor (ASUS PB278 with its driver not windows) Both monitors will not respond (second Monitor is an HP w2207 Wide LCD monitor with its specific driver also) I will have too hard reboot too get the monitors back up. My system is far better then the games I run and doesn't have or should not have any issues.
I have the latest Precision X that I ONLY use too set the fan speed of my card too around 95%. Nothing else has been or even been overclocked. Any help would greatly be appreciated..

Which build of Win 10 ?  Did you install the June update - it addresses black screen issues ?

How are monitors connected, what kind of cable are you using ?

Sounds like the display driver is crashing and recovering. Check the windows event viewer to see if you're logging any display driver crashing errors.

I have WIN10 1803 build. No clue with the June update. I did do the basic check though, safe mode cleaned out all old drivers and reinstalled new one.
My main monitor is connected by Display Port 1.4   ,My second is HDMI

Cool, I downloaded that tool and I did have too update that port firmware, though Today when I came downstairs, loaded up Camelot Unchained (testing is still going to see if they will launch beta July 4th :) ) and logged out of the game they both went black again. I have replaced the 1080 with an old 780 I had laying around too see if it could be the card, since it is the easiest "first" step too take. Will post back here after a few days =)..
