I think the Maximus about what's left that would impress me after something like this etc. Not a bad choice either.

Nothing wrong with few RGB here and there with the option of Control!!! We are living in RGB World, not everybody like or hate RGB but good to  have that option.

RGB is a major selling point right now whether you hate it or love it. I don't see that changing anytime soon.

small lightning accent is ok bot a pc shining like a Christmas tree is too much...

so DARK was a super atractive product for me, its dark and its the best mobo on the market

I agree.  I like checking out other members custom RGB builds, they look pretty cool.  But for me personally, I wouldn't want all that for my own builds.

I hate RGB on fans, memory, keyboard,...
I like example when someone have watercooling and put in reservoir now these new RGB Plugs G 1/4.
Some RGB LED strips inside PC Case capable to disable in every moment, etc...
I like LED diodes on motherboards, many of them if they show some function of motherboard.

RGB changed computer hardware look in negative direction. That's nothing new, it's not discovered before 2-3 years.
Only is implemented in IT industry soon and cause madness.
RGB Fan Header? Is it my RGB Adressable or Not??? Idiotism.
2010-2012 looked much nicer. I'm not against LED light, only not full computer in shinny colorfull details.
I hope full computer of RGB LED not influence on stability of components on any way.
I choose fan for my watercooling radiator and I will buy without LED 100%. But all hardware will be visible and look will much nicer.
Installing all these RGB things honestly... PC look much cheaper than real price.
Many small companies for production of RGB Fans and other things show up and they spoil value and look of hardware.
PC you paid 5000$ cost as 1500$.
To many fans who not worth, not because they are expensive, that's special 100$ 2x 140 RGB Fans and some plastic controllers.
And people install them now without any need, they are not game changer, they not prolongue life time of hardware, they are without reason there for light show.
RGB LED only could hide nice craftwork of some aluminum parts, watercooling blocks, motherboards, if you want to hide lower quality of components you could do that with RGB light and shine on all sides.

Someone to call me to show me his 5000$ worth computer with watercooling of everything RGB shine on all sides, fan shine in thousands modes...
First I would say... Please turn light off I want to see components. That would be my reaction. And he need to plug off fan to show me hardware nicely...
I couldn't say nothing about RVE10 and RVIE before I saw them without LEDs. Because they are advertised with RGB LEDs.

I should build computer for one girl from same building only 3rd enter and I show your picture to look,
he want smaller, transparent windows but immediately say I don't want everything colorfull, I am not kid.
Even girls looks us like kids with all of these RGB LEDs.
When nothing shine and when you see hardware than it's WOW...

Last few days I saw at least 2-3 new brands, never heared for tham with RGB Fans with purpose to shine and make light show.
Performance of fans I can bet are not tested or price optimized with performance. Only purpose is to computer like idea of Movie Director who make SF Movie during 1960th.

RGB in a Case or Mobo or Device or Fan is just personal choice or option, Nobody has to hate it!!! To me it just make the Case little more colorful rather than total Dark And I wish EVGA DARK would have came with some RGB rather than none!!! Only bad thing about RGB is more difficult Cable management because more Device comes with more Cable to control RGB not to mention you have to connect those Device to SATA or Molex connector to power it up then you have to configure each Device or Fan individually !!!! So it has Plus and Minus....

But they do have red and green LEDs on the board, it's just that they are used for system status 🤗
