X299 FTWk the VRM heatsink cover doesn't light up or have a cable or RGB header?

I just installed the X299FTWk last night and noticed the VRM heatsink cover doesn't have a wire coming from the RGB cover and the RGB header show in the manuals pic doesn't exist on my board? Did they change the MB design? Kinda like how the X79 Dark had bluetooth and the later models the BT was removed?

    In another Thread an EVGA Tech said it was removed in the final release.
    But still show "RGB LED Heatsink Covers" on the Product Page

    yes I talked to Jacob on twitter and he confirmed too that they had to make a change after CES.
     
    I'm just glad I didn't make a bone head move and forget to plug it in
