Some time ago, I raised the topic of editing the speed of the fans in bios 1080ftw2. I do not like the speeds that are set by the manufacturer. I have no desire either to manage through a program that does not work very well. I would like to flash the required speeds for me in bios and that's it.
Sincerely.

Prob for mining I'm guessing. Don't think it's possable to edit the bios.
I've heard another say you can boot into windows to run pxoc just to set the fans and then boot up whatever it is to run mining and the fans would stay at what you set them at.
They only reset when you power off the pc.

Well, then make a bios for me with the fan speed I need, since I was deprived of this opportunity. I'm not happy with the fact that the card is heated up to 70+ degrees when it could cool down to 60-65 and still not make much noise. I think for EVGA this is a matter of 1 minute. I can throw down the "curves" of the speeds that are perfect for me. I'm also sure that many will need a BIOS with a more "cold" fan setting, which will work without installing unnecessary programs.

I know in Afterburner you can set it up to overclock from windows start on its own. So even if the power did go out and reset you it would still go right back to whatever performance profile you setup that way.

I use a video card for games. I want to change the speed for in heavy games it will warm up on the stock firmware to 73+ degrees. I did not buy EVGA for my graphics card to fry, but for normal cooling, and in the end I got me not needed "zero fan speed". Why, at least in 2 firmware (slave) it was impossible to remove it? Let the 2 firmware will make the fan work more aggressively. Why should I put some extra software, which is also buggy and can even kill the card because of the stopped fans?

Most want a quiet card and that's how it's setup in the bios.. though there evga's precision x oc software that you can use to change the fans.
Every card manufacturer has there own software to change clocks and fan speeds.. that's how it done.
Download the software and either set the fans to a static fan speed or set up the fan curve to your liking. Slow and quiet when the card is idle and crank the fans to 60-75% when it goes to 40-50c when under load playing games.

Only other solution would be to physically remove the fans from the cooler and slap 2-3 120mm fans to the card with a custom mount and control them from either a fan controller from the motherboard (bios software involved) or hardware fan controller.
Sounds much easier to use pxoc personally.
Msi afterburner is an option but might not control all fans.
Or for go water cooling! Big money..
Again.. simply using pxoc and setting the fan curve to your liking and set it to launch with windows and forget about it takes a few mins of your time.

Don't take this personally, but why are you special and get to demand your own personalized BIOS just for you? If you get one, why wouldn't anyone else who decides to demand their own changes?

I think the BIOS with more aggressive settings will not only be useful for me, but also for a large number of people. You can make it public. I would not ask for something to be done if I had the opportunity to edit the BIOS myself.

I know you think that. But you didn't answer my question. Why should your demand be met and not others? There's things I'd like to change in the BIOS myself having modified quite a few Pascal and earlier BIOS. Alas, those days are gone.

I have not seen a single request about how to correct the BIOS, but there are many topics due to overheating and stopped fans due to the pxoc program. Or make it possible to normally save the fan profiles (in bios), or be kind - follow the user's requests. I did not buy EVGA so that everything around me was roasted, since the fan setting is simply incompetent and the card, with its capabilities, is heated like a junk, and in order to get a cool reliable video card.

Once again I repeat - to edit the bios 10 minutes in time. Can EVGA not make more aggressive BIOSes and upload them for download? Is it that difficult? And that's it! Why should I use this buggy PXOC ??? I need a cold card that will not warm everything around because the talentless engineers sewn up such an algorithm of the fan operation there. What washed away in all these sensors and other "whistles-tricks", if the card heats up to 75+ degrees?

I do not need updates, i need a more aggressive algorithm for the cooler and that's it. Yes many would thank you. It is not necessary to kill "zero fan", but make at least that it worked more aggressively when the temperature is warming above 55 degrees.

Download nvidia system tools direct from nvidia and install and reboot. Now you can control fan speed etc from Nvidia Control Panel and you don’t need to install anything outside of the driver. Problem solved.

We've already released a more aggressive default fan curve for most cards, and this is installed on yours. We don't provide "one-off" BIOS updates for special requests. BIOS updates are only released when a critical need is found. Editing the BIOS, and flashing a third-party BIOS may render your card non-functional, and is not supported. If you need to adjust the fan speed, PrecisionX OC is recommended.

Again that that to install and adjust? I do not want. I said I want a bios with the most aggressive algorithm of work. I do not need any PXOC, afterburner and crap. Just nvidia driver and that's it.

EVGA has already commented that the best BIOs is installed. Since you absolutely don't want software control the only other solution I can think of would be that you replace your video card with a hybrid AIO solution.

What kind of nonsense do you write at all? I'm just asking for a more aggressive algorithm for the fans that will be in BIOS and that's it. THAT THE FANS ARE WORKED AFTER 55+ degrees faster than they go in those firmware that are stitched into the video card from the factory. Let them correct the available bios and lay them out. I do not want to install the software and then configure it to make a 700-dolar card colder.

Excellent attitude to the buyer ... Well, the next time I'll buy a video card from another vendor.
Just go back to buying AMD please. We don’t need incompetent people who can’t understand to keep arguing the answers we give them. Nvidia system tools is something that installs onto the nvidia driver unlocking the access to things you didn’t have access to before. Precision xoc is something that unlocks those features as well as msi afterburner. If you are too stubborn to wanna just simply install and configure yourself then please, do us all a favor and buy AMD and poke at them for a BIOS. We all gave you a simple resolution/work around to evga’s answer to no to giving you a bios you want. Either install nvidia system tools or pxoc or msi afterburner and adjust the fan speeds yourself or stop bothering evga. It’s like buying a car and your forcing the dealership to remove the governor chip so you can gain higher top speed for your likings but no one else can get that feature because they told everyone else no and you persist and persist to get that just for yourself and then your unhappy and make a big deal out of it. Just install one of the 3 softwares and give them a go, you cannot knock them until you try them. Otherwise we cannot help you. Thank you and have a good day. Rant over Another thing, precision xoc allows you to modify the fan curve yourself to your likings. Hmmm! Maybe if you installed that software your trying to resist like the plague it’d be the end all to your situation.
