fetterEselAnother thing, precision xoc allows you to modify the fan curve yourself to your likings. Hmmm! Maybe if you installed that software your trying to resist like the plague it’d be the end all to your situation.

I just write for "hard", I do not want to install software. I want a simple algorithm up to 50-55 degrees - 0 turns and after 55 so that the algorithm works more aggressively so that the card does not overheat. Is it so hard to understand with your empty head? What is the difficulty to do at 65 degrees 40% + rotation speed and not 20%?

It's not hard to understand what you want. It's just hard to understand why you keep asking over and over again for the thing you cannot have.

You cannot have what you desire. The only thing you can have is alternatives. If you refuse those alternatives, you have nothing and there is nothing we can do to help.

Move along everyone. Let this thread die. This thread is headed nowhere good.

What kind of nonsense do you write at all? I'm just asking for a more aggressive algorithm for the fans that will be in BIOS and that's it. THAT THE FANS ARE WORKED AFTER 55+ degrees faster than they go in those firmware that are stitched into the video card from the factory. Let them correct the available bios and lay them out. I do not want to install the software and then configure it to make a 700-dolar card colder.

Excellent attitude to the buyer ... Well, the next time I'll buy a video card from another vendor.

Every other vendor will tell you no, which you also know. So, I think your little attention gambit has run it's course, amirite?

Download nvidia system tools direct from nvidia and install and reboot. Now you can control fan speed etc from Nvidia Control Panel and you don’t need to install anything outside of the driver. Problem solved.

Again that that to install and adjust? I do not want. I said I want a bios with the most aggressive algorithm of work. I do not need any PXOC, afterburner and crap. Just nvidia driver and that's it.

We don't provide "one-off" BIOS updates for special requests.

A bios request for video cards must be a new thing.  Of all my years of PC building and gaming I never even worried about a BIOS on the dang cards and just manually overclocked and used fan speeds to keep temps down.  Sajin if you dont mind answering, why do people want a BIOS update for stuff they can simply do themselves? It confuses the heck out of me.

Because they don't want to rely buggy software.

Just remove the fans from the cooler and slap a few 120mm fans on it at full blast! Or hook the fans up to a hardware fan control and adjust on the fly software free.

Problem solved.

Then you can mine with the nvidia card without issue.

That still defeats the purpose of being quiet. A few 120mm fans will still be loud! :D

Not when you adjust them to like 50-60%.

The problem is in EVGA iCX - coz they made 2/3 custom fans controlled ONLY in POC. Or in BIOS - where silent is priority and it's result in bad OC numbers when POC not available (Linux e.g. or some other rare cases).

Made some API for third-party tools to be able to control iCX FANs - problem solved. At least for RivaTuner - skins for RT are waaaaaay better than POC :P

Or just made chained control of FANs in cases when nVidia Drivers sets fan0 to locked speed - thus all three fans should speed on one RPM if NV driver make so! The solution is pretty simple and cheap for EVGA.

just about every other AIB and even nvidia themselves will tell you the same, the bios is locked and they wont do a one off bios for just one card. the slaves bios on most of evga cards already have a more aggressive fan curve, other wise your only option is to run extra software.

i really dont get some of the issues people have with some software, i have used precision since day one and unless i had a conflicting program installed and running never had any issues from it, i have had it act up mind you but it always turned out to be my own mistakes.
