I have not seen a thread on this. I am in the middle of finalizing my build for my computer. I was nearly about to invest in an i7 8700k, but I see this vulnerability patch will be slowing down 5 to 30%!
I have used AMD once, and never wanted to go back, but now with this all, I am wondering if I should look into the AMD Ryzen.

What are your thoughts on the issue? How do you think this will affect your CPU?

    Posted Here in this Thread Intel: Serious Vulnerability Speculation in all CPUs and it not that BIG of a Deal.
    It includes More than Just Intel Computer Processors. If it was then the World Would Have Ended
